What Our Patient Says

I have been going to the same medical practice for over 36 years when it was in High St, and kept going when it moved into its new building as Coastal Health. I have been impressed with the changes over the last few years. The old efficiency is still there. I have found them most helpful, co-operative and they always try to find a suitable time for an appointment that suits my schedule. Over the last few years I have been seen by a number of nurses and doctors. Sometimes they are the same ones, sometimes different. I thought there would be a lack of continuity when there was a change, but that was not the case. They all had read the latest reports and knew enough to be able to continue where we had left off the previous time. They were excellent in detecting the root of my ailments, including bladder cancer, shingles etc. The treatment proved brilliant. In the case of the cancer the referral and follow through was quite quick and an operation within 3 months. In the case of shingles it was diagnosed immediately and 3 pills later it was all gone! Their new facilities are well laid out and welcoming. I particularly appreciate the way the bookings work. 20 years ago I could expect to wait up to an hour for the scheduled appointment. Nowadays it would be rare to wait more than 15 minutes. I am so pleased I am with Coastal Health.
Archdeacon Robin Kingston
I just want to let you know how impressed I was with the service I got from my Doctor Sarah and staff at Coastal Health. I had my Doctor ring after hours telling me of some tests she had initiated for me at the Hospital. The same Doctor rang me after hours again with the results. Another lot of tests were organised for me by the Doctor with one of your staff giving me the results and organising for me to see a Hospital specialist. I didnt walk out the door and be forgotten the back up and follow through were exceptional and all this from just one visit.
